A little bit about TEAM

Sixty two years ago, our business was started by Larry Schroeder to distribute electronic components to radio and tv shops around St. Paul and the western Wisconsin area.  He was the second person to franchise from a company first known as Electronics Associates, and operated his business from a delivery truck. In 1955, Larry opened the first store on 7 Corners in downtown St. Paul, now the home of the Xcel Energy Center. In 1972, Dayton Hudson Corporation purchased the parent company and renamed the organization TEAM Electronics and transformed it into one of the premier audio and video retailers though the 70's and early 80's.  In 1978, TEAM started selling Apple computers, with other brands to follow. Who knew then computers would be the future!

Larry retired in 1982 and Dave became the owner. After moving to Oakdale in 1984, the business started to transition to a computer only store.  By 1987, we became an Apple Specialist. The move to Woodbury, and the name change to TEAM Technology, happened in 2007. Since 1978, we have sold in excess of 10,000 Apple computers.
